DAVIS, ALAN "A.B." 1913 to 2010

Alan "A.B." Davis, 97, of Tubac, Ariz., died December 22, 2010, in Tucson Arizona.

A.B. was born September 11, 1913, in Pine Bluffs, Wyo.

He graduated from high school in Cedar City, Utah, and then worked in construction on the Boulder Dam and at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

After service in the U.S. Marine Corps aboard an aircraft carrier as an airplane mechanic, he remained in the San Diego, Calif., area and became a police officer.

He worked 20 years at the pistol range and retired as a sergeant on the San Diego Police Department.

He later worked as a real estate broker in Tubac until a second retirement 10 years ago.

A.B. was a loving and devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his loving wife Gini Davis of Tubac, sons Gary Davis of Madison, Wis., and Brian Davis of Del Mar, Calif., granddaughters Tina White of Fairfield, Pa., and Cassidy Davis of Del Mar, and great-grandchildren Albert and Eli White of Fairfield.

Cremains will be placed near Tubac.
