Bernard Malone, 86, of Coronado died Friday.

He was born in San Diego and was a San Diego marshal and real estate broker.

He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post 2422.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Malone; daughter, Bernice Dietlein; sons, Gary Malone and Ron Malone; stepdaughters, Kathy Kuhn, Susie Winston and Mickey Boelter; and six grandchildren.
