BARKER, REV. CARLETON CAMPBELL , Canon Barker, age 73, of Homewood died Tuesday, January 18, 1994.

He was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and the Senior Priest in the Anglican Church in America; a native of San Diego, Calif.; retired in 1985 from Sonat Inc. and from St. Raphael's American Episcopal Church, Birmingham, where he was Priest in charge for 16 years.

During World War II he served in the U. S. Maritime Service; among his many interests and activities, he was a Mason, Birmingham York Rites, a former Reserve Police Officer, Boy Scout Leader, Little Theatre Group Productions, and Kiwanis Club in San Diego, Calif; member of Civitan Club in Birmingham.

Funeral service was Friday at 1:00 p.m. from Jefferson Memorial Hoover Chapel with burial in Mayville Cemetery in Mayville, N. Y. Visitation was Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors: wife, Mrs. Ann N. Barker.
