Commissioner Mitchell is the owner of CAMM and Associates, a San Diego based company offering advertising, promotional and trade show services.

Although she has only been a member of the board of Commissioners since 2010, Commissioner Mitchell has been extensively involved in law enforcement promotions across the city for a number of years.

Commissioner Mitchell has also played vital roles in orchestrating fundraisers for a number of non profits around the San Diego community. 

Commissioner Mitchell is only one of two commissioners to hold the rank of Commissioner III. She currently serves as a direct aid to Executive Commissioner LaValle in matters of recruiting and retention of commissioners.
