Daryl A. Eide, 81, of San Diego died Friday. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and was an auto-body repairman for the San Diego Police Department. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Elks.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Eide; sons, Daryl G. Eide, Bruce Eide, Roger Eide, Brian Eide and Kevin Eide; and nine grandchildren.
