George A. Haddock was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Simla County, Colo. He died peacefully at home, Nov. 10, 2009, following a brave and courageous battle with cancer.

George is survived by his wife, Cathy; daughter, Kim; sons, Greg and Jacob Luchini; grand-children, Danielle and Brennen Haddock; and brother, Roy.

His long career in law enforce-ment ended in 1985 as Troutdale's police chief.

He went on to teach criminal justice at Mt. Hood Community College and also served as the college's director of public safety before completely retiring in 1994.
