CHARLEBOIS, JESSE D. Feb. 16, 1960 to January 7, 2003, police officer Jesse D. Charlebois was born in Minot, North Dakota.  Graduated from The University of North Dakota in 1982,

immediately moving to San Diego to pursue his dream of entering the Police Academy.  Jesse was hired by the San Diego Police Department in August 1982, and was assigned as a patrol officer working Mid- City Division.

Jesse also attended Law School at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

In 1984, Jesse married Cynthia Whalen and they made their home in Santee, Calif.  Together they have three children: Jessica (17), Stephanie (13) and Matthew (11).

Jesse took pride and participated in coaching their teams in basketball, baseball and softball. Jesse had a zest for life and enjoyed his family, friends, sports and working as a Police Officer.  He remained very close with all his friends locally and out of state.

Jesse was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Lakeside, Calif.  Services were held on Monday, January 13, 2003.
