Louis La Faver, 75, of East San Diego, died Tuesday in a hospital. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. No services were planned.

Mr. La Faver, a native of Colorado, lived in the county 57 years. He was a salesman and a former vice squad detective. He was a member of Al Bahr Shrine 32 and founder of the Al Bahr clowns.
