MARGARET ORTMAN SCHIRTZINGER, 91, 630 Milford Point Drive, Merritt Island, died Thursday. Born in Ohio, she moved to Merritt Island from California in 1986.

She was a retired owner of a telephone answering service.

Survivors: daughter, Gwendolyn, Merritt Island; sons, Theodore, Bishop,Ga., David, Las Gatos, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. Wylie- Baxley Merritt Island Funeral Home.
