The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church for Nathaniel J. McHorney, 71, of 4172 Wightman St., a retired San Diego police detective and San Diego resident for 61 years.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Good Body’s Boulevard Mortuary has charge.

Mr. McHorney leaves his widow, Charlotte; four daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Graham, Mrs. Doris McAtee, Miss Lucia and Miss Rea McHorney; three sons, Joseph, San Diego , Eugene Burbank and Edward of Connecticut; two brothers, six sisters and 16 grandchildren.
