PETER ALLEN CHAMPION, 52, died July 24 at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. A native of San Diego, Mr. Champion lived in San Jacinto five years. He was a security manager at San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant for 18 years. He was also an antiques dealer at Yellow House Antiques in San Jacinto for six years.

Mr. Champion volunteered with the San Jacinto Police Department.

He is survived by his wife, Lenize; a son, Tom McHenry of Escondido; a daughter, Carrie McHenry of Escondido; a stepson, Pasquale Scuderi of Berkeley; two grandchildren; his mother, Inez of San Diego; and a brother, Toby of San Diego.
