VOLUNTEER OFFICER II
RANDY MILLS
Active duty members of the San Diego Police Department - who are not members of the Association's board of directors - may lateral their current ranks into the SDPHA when serving the association in a volunteer status.
Randall Mills was sworn into the San Diego Police department on 07/07/2008.
After completing field training he was assigned to Southeastern Division. He worked as a patrol officer and an acting detective before being moved to the Juvenile Services Team.
Officer Mills took over the Southeastern Juvenile Diversion program, a program his grandfather Detective Pete Solomonsen started.
Officer Mills is proud to be a third generation officer with the department. His mother, father and grandfather all served as SDPD officers.
