Robert Joseph Pagan, affectionally known to most as “Bob”, 68, passed away on October 31, 2022, after a brief battle with congestive heart failure.

He was born to Pete and Virginia Pagan on June 28, 1954 in Corona, CA. As a military child of a United States Marine, he frequently moved around the states.
Bob attended Kofa High School in Yuma, AZ where he was a star baseball player and pitcher. He graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

In 1978, Bob married the love of his life, Ileana. They went on to have two children, Roberto and Ileana, and settled in San Diego, CA.

Bob joined the San Diego Police Department as a Parking Enforcement Officer in 2000 and recently retired in April 2022. During his career, Bob was awarded numerous accolades and accommodations for his excellence in service.

He was a 3rd degree black belt and a certified instructor in Tang Soo Do and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of self-defense to his fellow coworkers.

His family will remember him as a man who valued hard work, tradition, and his country. He enjoyed hard rock/heavy metal music, astronomy, and Ufology.

Bob is survived by his Wife: Ileana Limon-Pagan, Son: Roberto Pagan, Daughter: Ileana Pagan-Canada, 6 grandchildren, and his brothers: Jim & Mike Pagan.
