THE THIN BLUE LINE
Robert Wallace Weaver II

Born October 11, 1943, he passed away peacefully on May 16, 2021, at home with his beloved wife and family by his side.

Bob, aka Bubba, lived life to the fullest. Raised in Southern California, he was the oldest of five children of Robert and Bobby Weaver.  He graduated from Hoover High School and enlisted in the Marines.

After his tour, Bob joined the San Diego Police Department.  He held many positions during his tenure.

Following his time on the force, he purchased the Carosel Bar and Grill while maintaining his relationships with his friends from the SDPD. (Oh, the stories!)

Bob met and married his lovely bride, Beverly, on August 13, 1982.  They blended families and eventually sold the bar and moved to Muskogee, OK. Once in Oklahoma, he joined McDonalds as a manager. During his time he mentored many young people, steering them in the right direction.  He was more of a father figure than a boss.

Eventually, Bob and Beverly started their own business. Weavers Wood (Tweaterville Birdhouses), building custom birdhouses.  This took them across Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri.  After 10 years they shut down the business.  Bob then took a job at the local lumber yard and eventually retired permanently in 2009.

Bob enjoyed square dancing. He was an avid pet lover, raccoon tamer and excellent over the line player (1977 Champion) and mentor to those who sought his advice.  He loved gardening, tending to his flowers and had created a huge oasis.  One of his greatest pleasures was watching the birds and squirrels playing in his garden.  He fed the raccoons nightly and got a lot of enjoyment out of their antics.

He will be remembered for his quick wit and larger than life personality.  But most of all, he was a loving husband and friend to Beverly.

Bob is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters Candy (Angelo), Kathy (Ervey), Tiffani and, Rob.  His siblings, Richard of NV, Robyn (Walter) of AZ.  Ron (Kim) of CA and Ray (Janet). Bob leaves behind eight grandchildren, Larisha (Aj) of OK, Matthew (Ashley) of OR, Patrick (Rachel) of OR, Parker of OR, Kros (Rachel) of OK, Grayson of OR, Jillian of CT and Thomas of FL. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His parents, Robert and Betty Weaver, preceding him in death.

Beverly and the family would like to thank you for your prayers and support during this time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
