RANDLEMAN - Roger "Larry" Pridemore, 70, of Randleman, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 6, at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, with Rev. Marvin Patterson officiating. Burial followed at Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro.
Mr. Pridemore was a native of Guilford County. He was a retired policeman from San Diego, California, after 24 years of service. He loved gospel music and sang with the gospel quartet Joyful Noise.
He is survived by his wife, Clemensia "Clem" Martinez Pridemore, of Randleman; son, Michael Pridemore and his wife, Jennifer, and grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Pridemore of El Cajon, Calif.; sister, Ann Aldridge and her husband, Earl, of Pearl, Miss., and sister, Karen Dilday of Greensboro, N.C.
