A Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in St. John's Catholic Church in Welches for Roy Ervin Quick, who died Sept. 12 at age 76.

Roy Quick was born May 31, 1931, in Trenton, N.J. He graduated from the University of Hawaii and was a special-education teacher in Hawaii before moving to Welches in 1990. In 2004, he married E. Naomi Passler.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Tracy Kamemoto; stepdaughters, Connie Rawson and Sandy Senseney; stepsons, Cory Miller, Paul Smith and Ryan Smith; brothers, Thomas and Michael; and nine grandchildren.
