Retired Police Detective Theodore Brinks was hired as a recruit on July 6, 1959, and retired as a Police Detective on July 6, 1982. 

Survived by his wife Aom, his daughter, SDPD Traffic Administrative Aide, Vanessa Arthur, his son Ted and his grandchild, Dylan Arthur.

Retired Detective Brinks passed away while living in Thailand. There were no local funeral services.
