ASSISTANT CHIEF OF POLICE TERENCE G. CHARLOT

SERVING SINCE 1996

Assistant Chief of Police Terence Charlot is part of three generations of service to the San Diego Police Department. His father, Joseph B. Charlot, served the citizens of San Diego from 1991 until his 2012 retirement. His son, Officer Joseph R. Charlot became a member of the department in 2016.

Terence currently is the Chief of Patrol Operations where he oversees all nine patrol commands across the city. He is also responsible for the Watch Commanders Office.
