Bill Flores was born in Holtville, CA.

The oldest of four children he spent the majority of his adult life as a public servant.

Bill married Carolyn Brown in 1961 and had three children, Steven, Laurie and Sandra.

Bill joined the Holtville Police Department while also serving time in the U.S. Army Reserve.

In 1969, Bill and his family moved to San Diego after he was hired by the San Diego Police Department.

On December 1, 2010, Bill lost a year-long battle to pancreatic cancer.  He is survived by his children, grandchildren, brother Robert and sisters, Delores and Rebecca.
