Zola Ruth Christensen, age 72, devoted wife to Frank of 43 years, mother of three, passed
away on September 8, 2022.

Zola was born March 22, 1951, in San Diego California.

Zola was a San Diego Police Officer, and she also worked as the head of security for Viejas Casino before she retired to their dream home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

She loved to create ceramic pottery,garden, loved to can, the perfect pie crust maker, drive her Corvette, ride motorcycles with her husband and was a devoted and thorough genealogist.

Zola was also a proud and dedicated member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She met her husband Frank when he was her firearms instructor for the police department. They fell in love and created a life together for the past 43 years.

Zola was a loving, devoted, and protective mother. Zola was also a mother-in-law who took on that role with so much love and compassion.

Her children’s spouses were an extension of her children. Zola will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her husband Frank, sister Polly, her children, Alfred, Jennifer (Jeff), and Zack(Caiti); seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her devoted dogs Odin, and Daisy.
