Winnie Rose Williams, age 83, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Thursday August 14, 2025, at Nightingale Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.
She was born on August 25, 1941, in Natchez, MS, the daughter of the late James Clarence Burris Sr and Dorthy May Bearden Burris.
Winnie was a United States Navy Veteran.
She worked as a dispatcher for the San Diego Police Department for many years.
Winnie loved crafting, gardening, and working on genealogy. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lon Williams III, and one daughter, Kammy Williams.
Survivors are one daughter, Kecia Hunter of Spokane, WA. and several grandchildren.
